[The Signal Vol. 1] An unconventional way to receive more money

What’s coming through in the signal today is rest and receiving.

When I talk about rest, I’m not talking about checking out or doing nothing. I’m talking about active rest. Rest that doesn’t involve a screen. Rest that actually nourishes you, decompresses your system, and brings you back into yourself.

And when I talk about receiving, I mean receiving across the board. Bigger opportunities. Deeper intimacy. More love. More financial abundance. More support.

These two are deeply connected.

If we go back far enough, when we were born, we were born into community. Tribes. Shared responsibility. Mothers and fathers weren’t doing it alone. There was a built-in sense of safety.

Your nervous system knew you were supported.

That’s not how we live in the modern day now.

Most people aren’t raised inside real community anymore, and that puts enormous pressure on parents and families.

Our nervous systems had to adapt to modern day isolation but they did an incredible job.

but.. they adapted in a way that’s out of sync with nature.

The result we see today is hustle culture, force, constant motion in the chase for more.

This isn’t saying hard work or desiring nice things is bad. that’s not the conversation we're having.

The real question is deeper.

What’s the emotion driving the action?

For most of our ancestors, survival was the driver. Brute force. Push. Endure. They didn’t have the awareness we have now. Those unresolved pressures get passed down. We inherit them in our bodies.

Now we’re at a point where something is changing.

Creating safety no longer comes from constant doing to survive. It comes from within. From how connected you are to yourself.

That’s where active rest comes in.

Real rest retrains the nervous system to feel safe in uncertainty. It teaches the body that you don’t need to constantly act to survive. That you don’t need to prove your worth by staying in motion.

For me, that looks simple. Morning sunlight. Resting when I’m tired. Naps if needed. Sleeping longer when my body asks for it. Walking. Swimming. Time away from technology. Less artificial light, more real sun light.

When you do this consistently, something shifts. Your body settles. The internal pressure eases and you stop trying to escape uncertainty through action.

Through another lens this is the difference between being because your already it (and actioning from that place, being pulled forward) VS doing to try and become it (and actioning from that place, pushing to force it)

The idea is to signal to your body that it’s safe to be it now, then the challenge is becoming comfortable with the discomfort and uncertainty that this new pathway brings.

So this isn’t about action vs no action. That’s too binary.

It’s about the energy behind the action.

Is it fear?
Is it control?
Is it proving?
Is it guilt?
Is it motion for the sake of motion?

When those emotions come up, instead of letting them drive you, can you sit with them? Let them pass through?

Emotion is just energy in motion. If you allow it, it moves.

That’s how fear dissolves instead of running your life.

For entrepreneurs, creatives, people whose default is action, this is where the work really is.

When action is driven by fear or shame, it might “work,” but it isn’t sustainable because you need that frequency to maintain momentum.

But is that where you want your fuel to come from? I doubt it.

Eventually you'll feel compelled to let that fuel source go and find a sustainable energy that pulls you forward.

Why? because receiving more requires more capacity.

and to expand our capacity you must let go of the old fuel source.

That means stopping, engaging in active rest and signalling to your body it's safe to receive more or be supported... without constant doing.

More money is more energy. More responsibility. More to hold. If your system is already operating under pressure, your body will say "no I don't want more of that if I have to brute force everything"... even if your mind consciously wants more.

You end up in this scenario... The mind wants expansion. The body doesn’t feel safe enough to hold it. They work against eachother.

The result? hitting the same revenue over and over again.

That’s why active rest is not lazy. It’s preparation for your next level.

Rest clears the old fuel sources. Fear. Shame. Guilt. It creates a new inner foundation. One where you can receive without overcompensating, without proving and without guilt.

I've seen clients double their monthly revenue from simply removing a block around guilt.

This transition isn’t comfortable. Silence brings things up. Unresolved memories. Old drivers.

This is why most people go back to force. The silence feels too loud.

Alignment isn’t just peace and light.

To get there, you move through what you’ve been avoiding.

But if you stay with it, you come out the other side. Joy in your work. Joy in rest. Play. Ease. A different relationship with effort.

You embody a new way of being.

You begin to know, in your body, that it’s safe to stop. Safe to be. Safe to be paid for your presence, not just your output.

you begin to see that your value comes from who you are, not just what you do.

That’s uncharted territory. There’s no status or external validation to lean on. You basically rebuild value from the inside out.

And when you do, you don’t just change your relationship with money. You change how you relate to work, purpose, and life itself.

Money can finally flow because you feel safe in your nervous system to rest and receive.

Rest and receiving are inseparable.

When you rest, you remember who you are. And when you remember who you are, receiving becomes natural.

That’s the shift, the new way. And it’s already here

You and I are right in the middle of it.
