From Reactivity to Wholeness
My belief is from a soul level we did not come to this world to simply “achieve things” and die.
Instead, we came here to transmute dense states (negative) into light, wholeness, and expanded capacity to receive (positivity)
Think of your favourite “character driven” movie… (or use your own story as an example)
Character...Struggle (negative reality)... Low point... Decision to change... Transformation... Winning (new positive reality)
They transformed their negativity (bad situation) into positivity (better situation)
But what we often miss in the above story is that in order to reach this “new positive reality” a consistent set of choices must be made at each moment.
When we live in a state of reactivity we lose the opportunity to step into that “new positive reality”
The Energy of Lack
If we go deeper into ancient wisdom from the sages thousands of years ago, we learn that reactivity is thinking, behaving, or acting from a state of "lack"
"Lack" in this case is directly tied to emotions that sit on the lower scale of consciousness (i.e guilt, shame, apathy, fear) see the scale below from David Hawkings.
While not every scientist agrees with Hawkins’ calibrations, his work provides a useful framework to understand emotional energy and consciousness

How This Plays Out in Business
You're in a group of other entrepreneurs and one shares how they hit a "big milestone" this month, you want to feel happy for them but instead a larger part of you feels small or like you're "not doing enough".
Without realising you urgently take action to change your results, sending hundreds of messages, emails, creating videos or getting frustrated at your team for not performing.
Without awareness to what's playing out internally these actions are now taken from a state of reactivity (lack)
The result is more chaos, such as nobody responding to your actions, taking on nightmare clients that you don’t really want to work with, working endlessly “trying” to measure up to the other persons "big milestone" but seeing little results for the sheer effort you're putting in.
These are examples but how this shows up in your life is unique to you and the inner work you came here to do.
The deeper driver here in this scenario is "If I get better results in business and share this with my group of friends, then I will feel like I'm enough"
Important: The idea here is not to remove yourself from people doing better than you, thats another form of reactive behaviour. Surrounding yourself with others who are winning and evolving is a powerful environment for growth. Instead it's seeing the reactive behaviour as a gateway into your own internal transformation by letting of the deeper belief of "I'm not enough unless I achieve something" go.
It's not the real you thats being reactive, it's the ego.
The key to dissolving the ego in this scenario is not fighting back with reactivity, it's compassion.
When you acknowledge that part of you that feels "lack" in that moment you can sit with that feeling, love that part of you that needs healing, and let it go.
This shifts your "lack" to "wholeness" raising your emotional state into a higher vibration.
Then, take powerful action from that new state. I can guarantee your actions will produce radically different results.

The Law of Input = Output
We think that an action is just an action, but it's not.
This simple pause creates all the difference in what result you experience.
Either way, you're in a situation of Input = Output.
- Input is not only the action you take, it's the energy you take the action from and the intention behind the action.
- Output is the direct result of both the action, the energy and intention behind it.
Without the pause you create a knock on effect of Lack input = Lack Output
To go deeper, we could look at the following cycle:
Reactive fuel (lack input) → frantic action → hollow results or crash → reinforces belief “I’m not enough” → deeper burnout (lack Output)
That loop is what most entrepreneurs feel stuck in.
Lack input: reactive behaviour, trying to prove yourself to someone, frustrated at your team, building a marketing campaign in the hopes you measure up to your competition.
Lack Output: "lack of result" confirming the belief that you're not enough or you actually achieve the result but there's a "lack of fulfilment" because no matter what happens the deeper belief of "I'm not enough" still holds a heavy emotional weight underneath the surface, instead one would experience an emotional high followed by an emotional crash going back to baseline causing frustrating cycles of burnout.
When lack, scarcity, fear and desperation drive behaviour burnout is inevitable.
Even if it appears to be working, chaos emerges and the progress made cannot be enjoyed or it results in endless cycles of burnout. Either way the lack has to show up somewhere

Shifting the Fuel Source
Underneath that feeling of lack is a negative emotion that is calling to be dissolved so you can purify the energy fuel source driving your subconscious behaviour.
Many people (especially entrepreneurs) will see burnout as "normal" because its been their way of living for so long.
It only until something forces them to change like a business collapse, relationship ending, kids rejecting them or terrible health challenges.

A portion of developing your emotional IQ it’s about choosing to be proactive (wholeness) over reactive (lack)
Wholeness in this sense can be seen as an emotion thats higher up on the emotional scale (attached in the image below) such as neutrality or even peace.

Being proactive is about pausing in those moments of reactivity and making a new choice from a place of wholeness, remembering you lack nothing.
It’s developing the self awareness at each moment and asking… Am I being reactive right now?
Even asking that question is beginning to dissolve reactive behaviour, getting to the root and stepping into the “new positive reality” where you experience what you say you want.
It’s not just about doing more, it’s about fuelling your actions with wholeness.
